Competition design with ACME Architects for a multi-purpose cultural building to include residential, gallery, exhibition and performance space, roof gardens and a double-height public foyer at ground level.
Public House developed a clear structural strategy for a 6 story engineered timber frame building over a concrete arch podium and basement box. This enabled the competition team to present an efficient overall concept to convince the Client of its feasibility.
Public House also developed precast modular and in-situ alternatives for the construction of the concrete arch podium structure.
